OSHA 30 Hours Construction
Safety Training Course

The OSHA 30 Hour for construction is designed for your worksite supervisor and safety professionals. As you probably know an OSHA 30 for Construction is now required on many job sites. It became a need in Pakistan for all construction sites that construction workers have an OSHA 10 hour course and all persons supervising work have an OSHA 30 hour course. Other construction areas in Pakistan need proper training of OSHA 30 hrs in order to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, We are seeing the same requirements on many federal sites. This is an effort to reduce workplace injuries and fatalities through training education.

Course Content:

Introduction to OSHA -at least 2hrs

• OSHA Act,

• Inspections, Citations, and Penalties

• General Safety and Health Provisions & Value

​

OSHA Focus Four Hazards -at least 5hrs

• Fall Protection e.g. floors, platforms, roofs

• Electrical e.g., overhead power lines, power tools and cords, temporary wiring, grounding

• Struck by e.g., falling objects, trucks, cranes, constructing masonry walls

• Caught in/between e.g., trench hazards, unguarded machinery, equipment

Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment, at least 5hrs

Health Hazards in Construction -at least 2hrs

Stairways and Ladders -at least 1hrs

30-HOUR ELECTIVE COURSE TOPICS

Choose at least 6 of the following topics:-

• Concrete and Masonry Construction

• Steel Erection

• Safety and Health Program

• Confined Space Entry

• Powered Industrial Vehicles

• Ergonomics
